I have been going to Sylvan Dale for more than 5 years, staying as a guest for the dude ranch week - the riding is spectacular, accommodations 5 star level - a pampering cabin with all facilities - excellent food served - and plenty of it! “What a wonderful experience! Breathtaking beauty on the many trail rides with horses that are trained so well. All the staff, and I mean all, were so helpful and kind. This place is truly a gem. The food (3 meals a day) and lodging were outstanding. The various activities offered were all excellent. The open, caring atmosphere made making new friends & relationships just happen.”

“This experience was nothing like I could have imagined! The Cowgirl Round up in late September was more than a getaway. For this first time rider I was so impressed how they matched your horse to ability and experience. “Sandy” was perfect for me. The staff are all so helpful and always with a smile. Our group of four stayed together in Mamma J’s house which had all ammenties and very comfortable. The meals were so delicious and hearty, followed by a special event each evening with a scrumptious dessert. The group of women from different parts of the USA, Toronto and Tel Aviv(!!) were enjoyable and so much fun! This trip was like nothing I have ever experienced! Looking forward to my return.”

“I recently stayed at Sylvan Dale for a grownups only week (4 days of riding) with my son. We are from the east coast and I had always wanted to go to a dude ranch out west. I don’t like roughing it anymore but I love horses and trail riding. Sylvan Dale was perfect. The horses are all beautiful and well kept, raised right there on the ranch. They go out to pasture every night and were the cleanest horses I ever saw! The trails are breathtaking. The food was outstanding for every meal. They have chefs on premises and the meals are varied with lots of options. Even the desserts were homemade. The accommodations were nice, roomy and comfortable. If you like your toiletries I suggest you bring your own. The owners made it extra special and made you feel like a guest in their house. I would love to go back and take a few cabins with more family members.”
