We invite you to a place where horses & cattle roam the mountain slopes and clocks are non-existent! Saddle up and come explore our 3200 acres! Nestled along the banks of the Big Thompson River, Sylvan Dale will provide you with the rest and relaxation you need.
Rest - Relaxation - Action - Adventure
We have a beautiful herd of ranch bred and raised Quarter horses waiting to take you on mountain adventures. Whether you are a beginner rider or more advanced we have the perfect horse for you. Our 4 night package will provide you with lots of time in the saddle and a chance to expand your horsemanship skills.
Learn New or Improve Your Equine Skills
You will learn how to saddle and bridle your horse, the basic care and feeding needs of your equine friend and enjoy lessons from our horse trainer Barry McAleenan. Since we are a working ranch you will also have opportunities to participate in cattle work and a chance to help train our yearlings.

After a long day in the saddle Sylvan Dale will provide you with the ultimate “Cowgirl Relaxation”! Enjoy a hot shower and a dip in our hot tub!
Wake up in the morning and enjoy your form of a morning workout by either attending our Yoga class or jump in and help with ranch chores. Evenings will be fun and entertaining whether you join an overnight pack trip or enjoy a melodious Cowboy Serenade by the campfire.
