Conveniently located just one hour from Denver in the Colorado foothills near Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park, Sylvan Dale’s 3200-acre Guest Ranch is nestled along the banks of Colorado's beautiful Big Thompson River.

Named "Best Family Vacation" by Frommer's Colorado Guidebook and rated among the “Top Ten Colorado Dude Ranches” by True West Magazine, Sylvan Dale has been owned and operated by the Jessup family since 1946. The Ranch offers both cabins and lodge accommodations, all with private baths, warmly decorated with comfortable country furnishings and antique accents.

• SEASONS: Our “Bunk” & Breakfast stays are available from the third week in August through mid-June of the following year. The ten weeks of summer are reserved for full dude ranch vacation packages.

• RATES Mid-range in comparison to other B&Bs. We’re way above “rustic” but are not a high falutin’ luxury resort. Lower Rates on weekdays and during winter months (November through March).

• LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS: One hour and 15 minutes from Denver International Airport. In the foothills seven miles west of Loveland, Colorado, on US Highway 34, 18 miles east of Estes Park, 20 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park. Altitude is approx. 5,280 feet on 3,200 acres.

  Under state law, all wine, beer and bartending services in public gathering areas must be arranged through the Ranch. Outside alcoholic beverages must be kept within the confines of individual rooms.
