Conveniently located just one hour from Denver in the Colorado foothills near Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park, Sylvan Dale's 3200-acre Guest Ranch is nestled along the banks of Colorado's beautiful Big Thompson River.

Named "Best Family Vacation" by Frommer's Colorado Guidebook and rated among the Top Ten Colorado Dude Ranches by True West Magazine, Sylvan Dale has been owned and operated by the Jessup family since 1946. The Ranch offers cabins, guest houses, and lodge accommodations, all with private baths, warmly decorated with comfortable country furnishings and antique accents.

• HOLIDAYS — Join us for one of our seasonal holidays for an out-of-the-ordinary B&B stay that will create lasting memories.
• LODGING — Tastefully decorated in country and western decor. All units have private baths. Twenty-six lodging units, including 11 cabins, 4 guest houses with complete kitchens and 13 lodge rooms. Phones and Internet access available in meeting rooms and Business Center.
• FOOD AND BEVERAGE — A hearty Cowboy Breakfast comes with all B&B stays. Wholesome and fresh, our food is served with prompt, friendly service and features home baking, and health-conscious dishes. Please inquire at the office for delivery options and offsite restaurants for other meals. If you’re bringing a group, one of our event coordinators will be pleased to create a custom package for you inclusive of lodging and meals.
• RATES — Mid-range in comparison to other B&Bs. We're way above rustic but are not a high falutin' luxury resort. Lower rates on weekdays and during winter months (November through March).
• AMENITIES — Outdoor heated swimming pool (seasonal), hot tub, tennis courts, volleyball, horseshoes, basketball and game room with billiards, ping pong, Foosball and board games.

Under state law, all wine, beer and bartending services in public gathering areas must be arranged through the Ranch. Outside alcoholic beverages must be kept within the confines of individual rooms.

Check in/out: You may check-in after 3:00 pm, with plenty of time for adventuring. Check-out is a lazy 11:00 am.

Payment Procedure: Final payment is due at check-in. We encourage payment by personal check. We also accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.

Deposit/Cancellation: A deposit equal to one night's stay will reserve your room. If you need to cancel, your deposit is refundable, less $50 administrative fee per lodging unit, for cancellations made at least 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellations less than 30 days are non-refundable.

Smoke-Free Accommodations: No smoking inside any Sylvan Dale buildings, inside the Horse Barn or on trails. Thank you for helping to preserve a healthful environment.

Communication Services: Wireless internet access and public phones are conveniently located in the main lodges. Verizon cell service is available in the Heritage. Other cell phone service is limited. By popular demand, there are no phones or TVs in the rooms.

Transportation: We would be happy to provide information regarding shuttle services to and from the airport as well as rental car options.

Pets: Our ranch critters are territorial. Sorry, but no outside pets.

Wheel chair accessible: Most of our accommodations have limited accessibility.
