 Broadband Internet Access:
Sylvan Dale has a
T1 (1.544Mbit) high speed internet connection that
we are happy to make available to our guests. Currently
there are two buildings (Heritage & Jessup
Lodge) that have both wired and wireless Internet access
available. If you require a wireless adapter for your
laptop, the Office Front Desk has two available for
a small fee. In addition, a 16-port 10/100 Network
Switch is available for use in either building. This
switch will enable up to 15 computers to connect to
the Internet simultaneously using a single RJ-45 Ethernet
jack. If Internet Access is required for more than
15 computers, additional arrangements can be made if
requested in advance.
HERITAGE BUILDING: 802.11b (11Mbit) Wireless access
covers most of the building; the Main
Meeting Room is hard-wired with a single RJ-45 Ethernet jack.
JESSUP LODGE: 802.11b (11Mbit) Wireless access covers
most of the building; the Red
Ridge Room is hard-wired
with a single RJ-45 Ethernet jack.
Business Center: Located in the Cottner College room
in the Heritage building, the business center has a
computer with internet access, an all-in-one printer,
fax, and color copier, and a courtesy telephone for
credit card calls.
