If you are looking for a different kind of adventure, saddle up on a steel steed. We've recently partnered with Backbone Adventures to provide mountain bike rentals to our guests.

Please note: we reserve trails on ranch for horseback riding and hiking only. Although we do not accommodate mountain bikes on ranch trails, there are several great mountain bike trails nearby, please see below.

Devil's Backbone Open Space

The Devil's Backbone trail is a local favorite and offers something for all levels of riders as it begins as an easy climb gradually increasing in intensity and difficulty.

This trail is also an excellent choice for hiking. Take a quick jaunt to the keyhole or traverse the entire trail over to Coyote Ridge.

Coyote Ridge Natural Area

Conveniently located between Loveland and Fort Collins you'll find the popular Coyote Ridge Natural Area.

Blue Sky Trail

The Blue Sky trail runs North - South through a valley between Horsetooth Reservoir and Devil's Backbone. Midway along the trail, you can access the Coyote Ridge / Rimrock open space areas to the east, and the Indian Summer trail to the west. (http://www.comtb.com/bluesky/index.shtml)

Bobcat Ridge Natural Area

Located just north of nearby Masonville, Bobcat Ridge offers miles of excellent hiking and biking trails. There's plenty here for everyone with trails ranging from low grade to over 20%.
