Ever wished you could find a place that offered the riding experience that is not the typical nose-to-tail trail ride? A place where you could ride side by side, explore off the trail, and occasionally jog and lope? Well…Sylvan Dale Ranch has the program you are looking for!
Sylvan Dale is located just seven miles west of Loveland in the Big Thompson River Valley. The surrounding hills offer over three thousand acres of beautiful riding country. We have been raising quarter horses since the 1960s and therefore our horses are well bred, well trained, and responsive to their rider.
Our wranglers are horse professionals who take pride in sharing the western life style with our guests.
Because It is very important that each rider in the program as the level of riding skill necessary for a safe and enjoyable experience, our Adventure Rider Program is comprised of intermediate to advanced riders who have been qualified through a riding assessment.
Adventure Riders enjoy a wide variety of western adventures -- fencing, cattle roundups and drives, team penning, riding clinics, overnight pack trips, and gymkhanas to name a few. You can enjoy riding in the company of others of comparable riding skill who share the love of horses and riding as you do.
