Sylvan Dale is a major fly-fishing destination for
anglers from around the country. Anglers who are Bunk & Breakfast
guests may obtain a ranch permit to fish specified
waters for an additional daily access
fee.
The River and Trophy Trout lakes are available to
qualified anglers for fly-fishing
catch-and-release only.
Catch and Keep bait fishing and spin casting are allowed
only in the main ranch ponds by special arrangement
through the office. You pay for each fish you catch,
and no throw-backs are allowed. You clean and package
your own fish for take-home, or if you don’t
want to keep them, you may take them to the Ranch kitchen.
(For groups of 10 or more, we will provide a fishing
attendant for an additional fee)
When fishing, Children 12 and under must be accompanied
at all times by an adult.
