LOCATION
Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch is an hour's drive from Denver,
and an hour and fifteen minutes from Denver International
Airport. The Ranch is located on the banks of
the beautiful Big Thompson River, just West of Loveland
on the way to Estes Park and not far from Boulder,
Colorado. Nearby attractions include the Rocky Mountain
National Park, unique shopping districts, art and
sculpture shows, and five golf courses, all within
30 minutes. The main Ranch is at 5,325 feet elevation
and rises to 7,500 feet at Cow Camp and Cedar Park
Meadows. Enjoy our 3,200 acres of Colorado beauty!
DIRECTIONS
For those
traveling to Colorado by airline, we recommend renting
a car at the airport for your maximum flexibility. During Dude Season, ask about the option of an airport shuttle.
Driving Directions
From Denver International Airport (DIA): As
you exit the Denver Airport, turn North on the Toll
Expressway E-470 toward Ft. Collins. Exit the tollway
at I-25 north, toward Fort Collins, and proceed about
30 miles to the second Loveland exit (Exit # 257B),
US Hwy 34 west (toward Estes Park). Continue through
Loveland west toward the mountains on Highway 34,
which is also called Eisenhower Blvd. The ranch is
approximately 13 miles west of I-25 and approximately
7 miles west of Wilson Blvd. in Loveland, (there is
a Kmart and a Walgreens at this intersection
if you need any last minute items). NOTE: Ranch entrance is located betwenn mile markers 84 and 83. Turn right at
the wooden Sylvan Dale sign just before you enter
the Big Thompson Canyon. Follow the entry road past
the stables, turn right after you cross the River,
and continue to the office at the far end of the parking
lot, approximately 0.3 miles from the highway.
From Denver, get on I-25 north and go approximately
55 miles to second Loveland exit (Exit # 257B), US
Hwy 34 west (toward Estes Park), and continue as above.
From Cheyenne, get on I-25 south to the first
Loveland exit (Exit # 257B), then continue as above.
