& Release Fly Fishing at Big Valley Trophy Lakes.
Initial visit includes full-day guide: $200/rod/day for 1-2 people; $185/rod/day for 3 or more;
follow up access $65/rod/day. - Catch & Release Fly Fishing at
Main Ranch River and Ponds: B&B guests check
in after 3 PM, check out before 11 AM. A fishing
“day” consists of a morning, afternoon
and evening over any one or two-day period, so you
can start in the afternoon, fish through the evening
and continue the next morning until noon, and it
only counts as one day. Cost is $15 per person/per hour or
$65 per person/per day.
- Catch & Keep bait fishing and
spin casting are allowed for B&B guests only
in the main ranch ponds by special arrangement through
the office. You pay $6.00 for each fish
you catch, and no throw-backs are allowed. You clean
and package your own fish for take-home, or if you
don’t want to keep them, you may take them
to the Ranch kitchen. When fishing without a ranch
attendant, children 12 and under must be accompanied
at all times by an adult.

only when accompanied by a guide. Contact Ranch-approved

Special Day Trips for return anglers
(no guide necessary) $85 per rod/per day:
If you have previously fished out trophy trout waters
with an approved guide and can't take the time for
an overnight stay, you may want to take advantage
of our occasional offerings of day trips without the
need for hiring a guide. These dates are announced
on short notice, so the best way to find out about
them is to make sure you are on our e-mail notification
