• Transitioning to low flow toilets to reduce water usage
• On-ranch laundry practices that reduce water and gas consumption
• Linen reuse options for guests
• Use of eco-friendly cleaning products
• Installation of programmable thermostats and tankless hot water heaters
• Purchasing wind energy – on the “Greenswitch honor roll”
• Direct deposit for payroll to minimize paper and gas usage
• Encouraging BYO water bottles
• Serving and selling Sylvan Dale ranch-raised natural beef
• Composting appropriate waste
• Working with the Division of Wildlife to create and preserve wildlife habitat
• Implementing sustainable grazing practices to conserve native grasslands
• Partnering with other local businesses to encourage economic stability
• Over 60% of our 3,200 acres are under conservation easement
